Yes the design is awesome, but the food is better. The Ropa Vieja Empanadas are heavenly and you can’t leave without trying them!
2. Cena – Modern American comfort food with a trendy atmosphere. The ambiance is one of the best in the MiMo district. You will fall in love with every dish, especially the creamy polenta and the seared wild salmon.
3. Versailles – The ultimate Cuban dining location. If you’re a lover of Cuban food, this place is for you. The décor is even Cuban-like with mirrors all around the dining room! With a huge menu, there’s something for every pallet. You cannot visit Miami without coming here and trying the Strawberry Colada!
4. Pubbelly – The gastropub with the most character. Pubbelly is upscale and down-to-earth at the same time. With a young energetic atmosphere, Pubbelly is the perfect combination of Miami and Japanese cuisines. The tasting menu is everything you could want. You get a taste of everything like the duck confit ravioli and pork belly dumplings!
5. Sweat Records – A record shop and coffee shop all in one. The perfect pair. Enjoy a beverage from their fully vegan menu while browsing for records both new and old. They don’t just sell coffee and records. They offer a menu full of delicious snack. Try the vegan jerky. Trust us!
6. Zak the Baker – Industrial chic and a hip atmosphere with a soothing aroma. Just a few words to describe Zak the Baker. A local favorite, you can see the food being prepared with their open kitchen. There are plenty of kosher and vegan options available. I recommend the avocado toast. Yum!
7. Michael’s Genuine – Classic American food, with extraordinary desserts. A local must. Michael’s Genuine not only offers a great lunch and dinner menu, but the brunch menu is where it’s at. The brunch menu has everything from pancakes to elevated eggs to a raw seafood bar. Don’t even think about leaving without trying a sweet treat off the dessert menu. Can you say maple pecan tart with carrot ginger ice cream?
8. Blue Collar – Elevated comfort food with a 70s twist. How cool does this sound? Blue Collar is a small place so the demand is high. A hidden delicacy. The sweet potato fries are amazing, pair them with a rack of ribs and you’ve got yourself an amazing meal that your stomach will thank you for.
