This weekend, WKYC aired another exciting installment of the Kaulig Racing Race Report. NASCAR XFINITY team owner, Matt Kaulig delivered the report straight from the track. Kaulig and the WKYC crew gave the latest NASCAR updates from the weekend at Dover International Speedway. Check out the full video now!
Here are some of the highlights of their feature:
- Kaulig announced Koch’s wreck on lap 127 out of 200 of the OneMain Financial 200 race. This was disappointing finish to a weekend that started with a lot of hope, as Koch qualified for a 16th place start – the best starting position he’s had at Dover.
- Viewers got a look at the wrecked LeafFilter Racing Chevy Camaro as Kaulig expressed optimism for the “great strides” the team made at Dover this weekend.
- WKYC’s Jim Donovan recapped the Monster series race, which was won by Jimmie Johnson. This was his third win of the year this season, and his 83rd career win.
- Kaulig once again put the spotlight on an exceptional University of Akron student. This week’s Spotlight on Success featured Danny Nicolino. Nicolino discusses his participation in the Akronauts, a NASA award-winning rocket design team.
