Blake Koch at Iowa Speedway… Blake Koch has 11 previous starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) at Iowa Speedway. His earned a track-best start of 13th the last time the NXS visited Iowa Speedway. He tied his track-best finish, also 13th, in that race. In his last race at the track in July 2016, Koch posted the fastest time in final NXS practice, but fought a loose-handling Chevy Camaro in the race.

We are bringing a different race package this year and I’m super excited to get on track to test it out. I love XFINITY standalone races, especially at short tracks like Iowa Speedway. I have a good feeling about this weekend and would love nothing more than to take home our first top-five finish for our No. 11 LeafFilter Gutter Protection team.”
2017 Season… Koch is currently 11th in the NXS Championship standings after 13 races. He has recorded one pole position, three top-10 starts, one top-10 finish and six top-15 finishes. Last week at Michigan International Speedway, Koch started 13th after posting top-12 practice times in both practice sessions on Friday. He fought loose conditions during the 250-mile race on Saturday, finishing 17th.
Blake Koch NXS Career… Koch makes his 194th NXS start this weekend at Iowa Speedway. To date, Koch has a career-best NXS starting position of first at Talladega Superspeedway (May 2017), and a career-best NXS finish of eighth at RIR (April 2016), Bristol Motor Speedway (August 2016) and Phoenix International Raceway (November 2016).
