Pre-Race Report: Blake Koch, No. 8 LeafFilter Camry at the Michigan International Speedway

Blake Koch Heads to the “Great Lake State” for his 127th NXS Start: Coming off an off-weekend in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Blake Koch and the No. 8 LeafFilter Gutter Protection crew are ready to take on Michigan International Speedway this weekend. Koch has four previous starts at the two-mile D-shaped oval and has a best starting position of 18th and a best finishing position of 22nd. With over 380 laps logged at the speedway, Koch is refreshed and ready to get behind the wheel.

Koch’s thoughts on Michigan International Speedway: “Michigan is a great track to race at, so I always look forward to race weekend’s at Michigan. I have had some great runs at the speedway over the past four years. My team has put together a great LeafFilter Camry for this weekend’s race and I am ready to get back behind the wheel!”

No. 8 Camry: Crew Chief Matt Lucas and the No. 8 crew will unload chassis No. 117 for the 250-mile race. This chassis’ last run was at Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this season.
